Hi, did you try clicking that sort button,

there’s currently no way to sort them in the sidebar.

Hi Luke,

Thank you for your response.

Yes, I have tried clicking on the sorting button by "File Name" several times,

but "The Amazing...", "The Art of War...", and "The Avengers..." still display at the top of the list.

You want items starting with ‘The’ to sort under ‘T’ and not ignore ‘The’ in the sort order. Correct?

Yes, I think It means sorting by the File Name.

For names that start with The, A, An and few translations of these, the server ignores that part of the name.

So for example, "The Avengers" will sort under 'A' for "Avengers"

I'm not sure if sorting by filename will avoid that, but you can try

It should, and it does in standard library types but it appears broken in Collections sorting as per OP's screenshots they're already sorting by File Name - likely being a reason for this topic.

Edit: For reference - opposite (or desired) scenario:

hi @SamES

Thank you for your comment. In English, the sorting process may ignore some parts.
However, how does it work with other languages such as French, Dutch, Spanish, etc.?
Users might find it confusing to locate the "File Name" in the list (grid).

Hi, the only option right now is editing a hidden config switch:

And this only is used when sorting by sort title, not by file name.
