ZeeNetTV 4 Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) Everything has been fine for sooo long...now, issues keep mounting. Started with random freezing. Both movies and TV shows. Have to back out and restart the server, but it doesn't often help. Usually end up resorting to Plex or VLC. They're always fine. Then, my Samsung Galaxy s5e tablet started giving me nothing but a black screen. Audio is fine, but no video. I've only had it for a month, but it's worked perfectly since day one, and then suddenly, two nights ago, black screen. Looked here on the forums, but it looks like there's no answer. Just a lot of asking for server logs with zero answers. Still have yet to read a forum on here that gives anything straight. Since Plex and VLC work fine, I have to assume there's way more to this. I did figure out how to use Emby through VLC via DLNA on my tablet, but that's most definitely a temporary solution. I'm not sure what to do here. Server log, a screen recording of the Emby dashboard while it was playing through my tablet, and 2 screenshots of what the video looked like directly from the tablet during the screen recording...hope that can give you an idea of what's going on. It's so odd and baffling, because I've come to find that some of my movies are playing both video and audio on my tablet alright, but others won't play the video, just the audio. It seems totally random too, which ones play correctly and which ones don't. However, every tv show I try only wants to play audio, not video. Turns out the Emby app on my XBox is working fine now (not sure what the issue was last night, but doesn't seem to be one now), and my Emby phone app is playing everything perfectly as well. It really does only seem to be my tablet. I didn't mess with any settings on m tablet either. I've been using it regularly to watch Emby for the last month since I bought it without any issues whatsoever. It really was working fine, then it wasn't! EDIT: I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my tablet just for good measure, but it had no effect. Edited May 2, 2023 by ZeeNetTV Extra Info
