tedfroop 34 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 For anyone ripping to 480P with AV1, your Roku may have an issue. I tried the same video on PC and on the Android TV app and it displays 16X9 in both but on my Roku Ultra it displays in a weird 4x3 format. Again - not an Emby issue - just fair warning. tedfroop 34 Posted June 8, 2023 Author Posted June 8, 2023 Further info....its not a Roku issue but normal function for Sony K85 TV's..... IF you have Dolby Vision on, 720x480 sources display in a weird 4x4 format. Designed so you can't have Dolby Vision on while playing DVD's apparently. (but buying new Blu Rays will work just fine....) So I'm up-converting files to 1280x720..... 2
