I have a question that my brother had asked me about sometime last year. I had introduced him to MB2 back when I got him into HTPC's. He loves MB2, but one question he wanted to know was that when you are playing back TV episodes from a series like the Three Stooges and such, he likes to play them in random order and when he's done he will stop playback for awhile. When he's ready to resume watching later, he asked me if there was any way that he can resume the random playback, but only playing back the episodes that have not been watched yet.

That was a good question I thought, and figured to ask here. I am sure the plugins for MBC also has random and other modes of play, and was also curious if something like my question is possible. If its not a current feature, that would be one of my wishes (that I never got to use on the old forum). It would be nice to watch a list of episodes in random order and the come back later to resume without worrying about watching the ones already seen, until all of the eps in the series have been played.

Many thanks for any insight! :)

Not sure if there is a way to do it yet in MBC, but MB3-web has the options to filter out watched episodes from a view. In MB2 you could use the MBPlus/MBTV plugin to create channels based on certain criteria that would only show unwatched episodes and play them continuously.
