Emby or Channels DVR? Watching live recording failed

Trying to find the source of this issue as I am working on transitioning out Tivo completely from my house and this is the first time in a while that Emby did something unexpected since I completely rebuilt my Emby server.

The first log which starts at 19:14 (ending in b4f) is the original watch of a program which started recording at 19:00 (technically 18:59 as I buffer 1 minute) and then the second log (ending in b37) is the attempt to restart watching the recording after the first attempt completely froze. The playback went to blackscreen and when I attempt to jump 10 seconds forward or rewind I just ended up with a black screen.

Emby in this case is tuning from ChannelsDVR which is feeding from TVEverywhere's stream of Chicago CBS on virtual channel 6003.

Looking at the Emby Server log around line 4792 is where the stream froze and I quit out of the app. Line 4468 is most likely where the stream completely froze.

Any help as to what may have happened is greatly appreciated.

Hi, are you able to play after it’s completed?

Yes, the recording is able to be played without issue after it's been recorded.

I have not yet seen this issue again, however we also don't watch a lot of live TV while recording. This will change when I drop my TiVo subscription the end of this month.

One issue I have been noticing is that Emby freezes playback when the recording stops, it requires the user to back up and then play from the recordings folder. Everything is being recorded to a .vhdx which is backed by a RAID 1 SSD; I am looking at upgrading the CPUs in the host from 2680 v3s to 2695 v4s which also may boost performance.
