Hi! I recently download Emby and created a server but I have no idea where to look for movies. Do you use a specific website to download?

And, is it necessary to have the premium subscription? (the biggest detail is related to watching movies off-line?)

Sorry, it might be simple but I just started and I couldn't find anything.

Emby is a personal media server. You must have your own server and supply your own media (or Live TV)

Disks from shops, off-air recordings.

There may be additional illegal sources, but it is forbidden to talk about that here.

Disks are magnetic, discs are optical.

That's by no means a universal convention.  The Oxford English Dictionary gives "disk" as an alternative form for "disc", and puts all the definitions under "disc".  Merriam Webster puts all definitions under both spellings.

You have to setup the server you installed to point to all of your personal media as mentioned above.
