GregMo 24 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 So I had a file that was two parts, and par for the course, wasn't named in a way that Emby picked it up and so it figured the other part/episode was missing. As I have done in the past, I correct the file name so Emby could see it was a two part set in one file and as seen in the image below, Emby now picks up that ep1-2 is in the same file. Trouble is, it still shows a separate line item for ep2 and shows it as missing. I've rescanned a few times now. Any ideas on how to clear this?
Luke 42083 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 HI, try just adding a video file for episode 2 temporarily and that should get it cleared out of the database. This might be an issue with missing episodes. I think I recall someone mentioning it before.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Have you run a full scan? Not RTM or only library scan? Last resort remove the episode do a full scan and readd.
Luke 42083 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Just now, Happy2Play said: Have you run a full scan? Not RTM or only library scan? Last resort remove the episode do a full scan and readd. Or that, yes. First run a library scan. If that doesn't help, then try what I suggested.
GregMo 24 Posted April 11, 2023 Author Posted April 11, 2023 Hmm, okay, so the fix is to scan the whole series instead of just the season folder. Thanks for the suggestions.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Yes as virtual items are only removed in the schedule task scan (full scan) workflow.
GregMo 24 Posted April 11, 2023 Author Posted April 11, 2023 This wasn't a scheduled task, and I didn't do a full library scan. What I did, was just to scan the whole series instead of what I was doing which was to only scan that particular season.
