Fetching metadata with VPN on

Hi Folks, hopefully a simple one. I run windows 10. I have bitdefender vpn running on that machine which runs emby as my home server.

I have split tunneling so that embyserver.exe is exempt from the vpn and this works fine I can access it from outside.

The issue is that emby doesnt return metadata, artwork etc while the above is true. It runs and doesnt show any error but if I force it to replace all including images, I end up with a load of blank images. If I disable the vpn totally, it works and behaves as expected for movies, tv etc.

I suspect something else needs to be added to run outside the vpn.

Clear the log (schedule), then turn on debug logging - refresh a single item and then take a look at the log to see where the provider lookup's are failing.
