GregMo 24 Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 (edited) On linux, if you're running a LONG library scan and your curious where Emby is at in the process, the following is quite helpful. Hope some find it useful. g_str="Info MediaProbeManager: ProcessRun 'ffprobe' Execute: /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -i file:" cat /var/lib/emby/logs/embyserver.txt |grep "$g_str" |tail -5 |awk -F'\"' '{print $2}' And if you want to chop off some of the path to make it display nicer, you can use something like this below. You'll have to adjust the $4 at the end to the directory of the path you want to cut. cat /var/lib/emby/logs/embyserver.txt |grep "$g_str" |tail -5 |awk -F'\"' '{print $2}'| awk -F'\/' '{print substr($0,index($0,$4))}' Edited April 5, 2023 by GregMo 1 1
GregMo 24 Posted April 15, 2023 Author Posted April 15, 2023 And for those that have little tricks like this, I'd suggest posting them, not only for others, but for when you didn't save the commands and they're no longer in your history, lol
