Emby not organizing video files within group

Hey guys, I finally got the path issue figured out thanks to you guys. Here is my new dilemma:

I have the Tv show FRIENDS loaded on my hard drive.  The main directory is named FRIENDS 1994. The Subfolders are named by the Season for example,  Friends Season 1 , Friends Season 2 etc.

When I add FRIENDS into the library it scans as it is supposed to.  When in the home screen, Friends is displayed within the home screen.  Now when I open this folder up, Season 5, 6, 7 9 and 10 are all in there correct folders, but seasons 1, 2, 4 and 8 are in a blank folder that is display the wrong metadata titled "Spirit & Friends".  Season 3 is in a folder that is not named, but shows the main complete season image.

Any guidance to help me straighten this out?  I tried different setting within the library and rescanned with negative results.

Thank You,

Lisa~

Hi there, can you show us exactly what your folders and files look like? Thanks.

Sounds to me you've added FRIENDS folder as main library path. How are your files named and organized? Can you share a screenshot of your Settings>Library tab?

I changed the path to allow all of the tv shows on the hard drive to appear and emby aligned them up as it should.

I was trying to accomplish placing the path directly to the Friends folder so it would appear on the home screen instead of all of tv shows in a subfolder.

Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks

Take out FRIENDS folder out of your TV shows root (/home/me/Desktop/14tb/home/Videos/TvShows) and put it in some new folder (like /home/me/Desktop/14tb/home/Videos/TvShows2), create new library with that path (not including FRIENDS folder).
