XML Guide not unzipping gzip files

In the last week or so the xml guide that i have been using quit uploading.

There are two version of the guide, an XML guide, and a .gzip 

The reason I want to use the gzip guide is because it is a 7 day guide and not just a 2 day guide.

 

The XML guide shows up fine in tv guide, but the gzip file will not work, and the link is working properly, I am able to download and extract the gzip file into an xml file and confirmed the XML file is valid.

Having same issue and updated my server to 4.8.0.27+ with no success.  Confirmed the gzip is valid as well. (The gzip file used to work just fine)
