Przemek 70 Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Hello, today I have strange situation. My server "/" drive was fill up to 100%. I find that folder '/var/lib/emby/transcoding-temp' was more than 100GB. I delete files from that folder and change default transcoding folder to my backup drive but I'm wonder how what was cause that. There was one user who stream movie from iptv vod. Was that reason? Transcoding log is very large and I have problem to edit it so I can't paste here. Regards.
Luke 42078 Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Hi, please attach the Emby server log from when this happened. Thanks.

isamudaison 12 Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 I ran into this as well (although I'm using a docker container so it was only preventing transcoding)... I noticed there were other reports of this dating back quite a ways. I got around it by executing a cron job that executes this script every hour on the hour, that looks like this: #!/bin/bash docker exec -it emby sh -c 'find /transcode -type f -mmin +360 -delete' If you're running bare metal than the command in the single quotes should work as well (re-locate the '/transcode' path to where appropriate, of course).
