GrimReaper 4739 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Still not getting complete picture: is there a router/modem/switch somewhere in there? Do you want to connect directly to the server machine (in which case you'd need crossover LAN cable) or extend your wired network (in which case you'd use straight LAN cable)? Either way, I reckon you'll be depending on your SoC modem as I seriously doubt your tablet has dedicated controller chip.
David Patt 21 Posted March 29, 2023 Author Posted March 29, 2023 Directly to server machine i want avoid shitty router i have from isp provider and right now i cant get any other but have acces to switch. But want avoid it also this will be temporery setup until i move.
