When I go into my Music library, despite having a large number of music, it says "Music (50)" at the top, and only the first 50 albums are shown to me. When I click on 'Folders are off' to turn on folder view, same thing, only the first 50 artists are shown.

The same thing happens when I navigate to my kids' Music library as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm running version 1.0.20.0 on emby server v. 4.7.14.0 on Windows 10 Pro.

Thanks

I'm having the same issue feerlessleadr is -- I have 307 folders in my music library.  But, Bulky will only show the first 50 of them.

Emby version 4.8.3.0,  Bulky version 1.0.20.0,  Windows 10 - tried with Firefox and MS Edge browsers in case it was a browser thing.

I can go into the filters, and change it show descending - and then I get the last 50 folders - but still limited to 50

I can use filters to look for specific artists or albums to get the items between the first 50 and last 50, so it is workable for what I need - but I figure probably not working as intended.

Is there the possibility to add a tag to several movies in one step? I wish I could select e.g. 200 movies and add a tag, e.g. noKids, in one step.

Yep, you can ctl select movies you want to tag, or maybe filter then ctl select the movies. Then bulk edit and scroll down to the tags section. From there you have a few options (add to) is prob the go, then hit save.

Maybe I handle it wrong, but it didn't work to me. I selected several movies and than the mentioned bulk edit button. Then it startet with the first movie and I have to add the tag to every movie one by one. Where is my mistake?

By the way, I have macbook, the ctl doesn't work.

Don't worry about the next/previous bull, I'm not sure why that's there.. maybe to preview what your about to change?

Just scroll down to the tags section and add your tag and select (add to) or what ever you want to do.

Edit: Don't forget to add your tag to the textbox. :)

@VicMooreIs it possible to search for items based on resolution? I saw you can search for SD, HD 4K etc, but can you search for content that is 360p or 480p or 576p etc for example?

Thanks

I'm unable to create a new collection or add to existing collections.

I select a couple of movies, type a collection name, and click create. The operation finishes, but the collection has not been created.

If instead I try to add the files to an existing collection, the same process happens. Everything appears OK, but the movies are not added to the collection.

I thought maybe the problem was that the database files under my username were read-only, but I cleared that.

Any help is appreciated.

I am having similar issues with playlists, was just about to post and will do.

Wonder if it is a related issue.

Can't add or create new playlists.

Hi, when I first installed this plugin, I tested it out and I was able to add videos to a playlist..

I go through the motions:
Advanced > Bulky Editor > Select Video > Click on a Library > Highlight ( Click on a video ) > Then click on Playlist > Select Playlist and Add

Nothing happens afterwards. NO movie is added, I refreshed metadata and rebooted Emby, unfortunately no change.

Thank you in advance for any help.

HI, did you find a solution yet?

I am confused as how to use this plugin.

I need to filter view and then tag all movies in the Kids folder before the year 2000.

I tried creating a custom filter where Years is < 2000 but all it does is renames the test movie to 2000

What are the proper steps?

This editor has already saved me a lot of work. However, I'm still missing the option to edit actors.I would actually have to set tags for a few hundred actors, but unfortunately they are not displayed in the editor... And editing each one individually would certainly take days...
Had tried to bundle the affected Actors in a collection and then access them via Bulky Editor. But unfortunately, apart from the video with which I was able to make the link visible, no Actors were visible...

I would therefore be very happy if this option could be added :)

Hello @fwemby67 I have been off working on PseudoTV.  I will look at your problem in the morning.

Hello @fwemby67 sorry for the delay.

Bulky is not designed to edit tv channels for a specific TV tuner.  Bulky only sees the channels in the EPG, which consolidates all of the tuners together.

Bulky is an Emby plugin and it is in the Emby plugin library.

I want to say thank you so much for your plugin. It's been a game changer for managing my server for my 5 year old daughter.

I have a quick question: Could there be any way to schedule changes to the tag?  I'd like to turn certain shows on during the weekend only, then off during weekdays via an existing exclusion tag?  That is, would it be possible to use bulky to add X tag midnight Monday then remove the tag Saturday midnight?

Every time I try to use the plugin I click "click to start Bulky" and then I see the emby loading screen and then it takes me back to the "click to start" button - is it something on my end?

Where is that button?  I access Bulky from the menu entry on the dashboard, and it's just there.

@VicMoorethanks for taking this on and continuously maintaining it.  I am posting about an issue I initially reported a while ago ... I still have the problem.  I am now using Emby 4.8.8.0.  It's running on a Synology 918+ with DSM 7.2.2-72803 and your plugin is set to auto update.  The initial problem was that "Folder View" doesn't seem to work.  I tried it again today and Folder View still doesn't work.

At first I thought it might be an issue with decoding filenames (foreign characters?) ... so I picked a set of files I knew didn't have that in them and copied them over to a brand new library and directory.   Each subdirectory beyond that contains a single video, along with the BIF created by Emby, an NFO, and a poster.jpg.  To help visualize this:

\\share1\stuff\vid1
\\share1\stuff\vid2
...
\\share1\stuff\vidN

Folder view turned off, all videos appear and I'm able to apply bulk operations.  Folder view turned on, Bulky just reports 0 stuff(0)... and it doesn't matter how long I let it sit there.  There are 185 folders and 743 files ... only 185 videos, though.  Is there a log somewhere I can grab to get a view of what's failing ...?

Is this plugin still being actively managed?

Is there a log I can look at to determine why it's choking on my libraries?  Even the most basic library: one folder with hundreds of sub-folders (one for each video) ... Bulky still won't display them in Folder mode.

@VicMoore... hope all is well on your side ... I'd love to help describe this further as I'm certain it's a bug.

@the-dumb1Sorry for being away for so long - I have been rewriting PseudoTV - I am trying to get the time to also rewrite Bulky.  I will try to look at your problem next week. This weekend I have family events.

Wonderful plugin. I changed my NFO and thumbnail settings on my library, but they don't auto-create after that change -- so I need a way to 'touch' the media and get it to save that info.

It looks like I can simply shift+click to select all items and then make no changes -- then click 'save' and it doesn't write anything at all.
This seemed to create all my NFO files.

However it did not create any artwork. To do that I've been having to go into each individual movie/series/episode and 'edit metadata' and then click save.

Would anyone using this plugin know how I could make no changes, but cause the NFO and artwork to write to the folder?

Thanks!
