VicMoore 754 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 For those playing with the Explorer option in Bulky, I have added several buttons on Item fields so you can examine deeper what's included within Emby objects. I have attached the latest code below. If you have improvement ideas, I would like to hear about them. Vic Emby.Bulky.dll
VicMoore 754 Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 In explorer, "Save" is disabled until I can do more debug. Vic
VicMoore 754 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 @gillmacca01I have not forgotten your request. I am still working on how to do it. One question, if you are going to search for channels with a certain tag, then the channels must have been already tagged. Is this true? Vic
gillmacca01 211 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 I know your a busy guy. You are correct - example: BBC1, BBC2, ITV (uk channels), all have a tag called 'Entertainment'. They then appear in a tag folder called 'Entertainment'
VicMoore 754 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 @gillmacca01the code is attached below. I only have 30 channels so you will have to test the code for a large number of channels. Vic Emby.Bulky.dll
gillmacca01 211 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Thanks. I won't be able to test for a couple of days, as I work away all week, and cannot access the root folder of my NAS, unless I am home
VicMoore 754 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Thats OK -- You waited for me to finish the code, now I will wait on you to test the code. It works OK for my channels. I am sure it will work for a large number of channels. Vic
VicMoore 754 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 @rbjtechI think you asked me about writing to the Emby logs. Which log should I write to? Vic
gillmacca01 211 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Doesn't seem like it's working for me. Either I am entering the wrong information, or it is because I am running beta Here are the steps I did: Selected 'Library Search', then selected 'TV Channels' from the drop down list. Entered TAG, and left 'Receive results in' as Bulk Edit. Clicked search. Results are displayed (compared the TAG folder in Emby with the number of channels Bulky has found - number of channels correct, 15 channels) Scrolled down to TAGS, select 'Replace All', and entered the new tag in the new value box. Clicked save at the top of the screen, and after half an hour, I still have a spinning circle - none of the channels in Emby have had their TAGs changed I have tried selected 'Edit Each', instead of 'Bulk Edit', and the save button appears to do nothing (no spinning circle, and no change to TAG in Emby)
VicMoore 754 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) @gillmacca01I will work on this tomorrow. We are making progress. Are there any red error messages in the browser console? Vic Edited September 4, 2023 by VicMoore

VicMoore 754 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 @gillmacca01give this code a try. Vic Emby.Bulky.dll
VicMoore 754 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 @gillmacca01Take your time - I will do some more testing also. Vic

VicMoore 754 Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 @worthmoPlease look at the browser console and check for red error messages. Vic
worthmo 12 Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Attached is the error message when I attempt to save.
VicMoore 754 Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Thanks, I will try to fix the problem tomorrow. Vic
VicMoore 754 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 @worthmoPlease update to the latest version of Bulky. I think that is your problem. The latest copy is in the Emby Plugin Catalog Vic
worthmo 12 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I have the latest version of Bulky already installed (1.0.7.0). I tried uninstalling and re-installing but continue to receive the same error message.

VicMoore 754 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I have worked on the "Channels" tool in Bulky. It will read your VirtualTV channel setups. The first time you read this data the "Channels" will assume that you have no media selected for any of the 30 channels. With this tool you will select the media for each channel. Nothing is saved back into VirtualTV until you click the "Save VirtualTV" button. At the moment, processing of TV channels is slow. I will improve this soon. ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... .... ..... ..... ..... 2
