Creating new library path

Hi I have a ds920+ and most of my media paths a like /volume1/media/tv. I have install a HdHomerun with dvr and installed the dvr on my synology nas and it created a folder for recordings as /volume1/live tv. When I try to create the path in emby it will put up volume1 but when I pick the live tv folder it blanks out and there is nothing in the path. As far as I can tell permissions are the same on both folders. Does anyone have any ideas of how to path this?
