CAPRICORNX10X 68 Posted March 29, 2023 Author Posted March 29, 2023 I changed the names of the chapters. All are just numbers without the word chapter. And in emby the word chapter still appears even after I refreshed everything.

This suggests that whatever you're doing in mkvtoolnix isn't actually modifying the file Emby sees. Maybe you're not properly saving your chapter changes back to the file in mkvtoolnix? Maybe you've opened a different video file in mkvtoolnix than the one Emby sees? The next logical step would be to see what MediaInfo says your chapters are for the file: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo Edited March 29, 2023 by roaku

To rescan the file, you should 'right' click or use the 3 dot menu on the movie library itself. In the menu that pops up, 'scan library files' will be the option below 'refresh metadata'.

Ok, trying now
Luke 42077 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Refreshing metadata should have been fine though.

ebr 16169 Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 @CAPRICORNX10Xplease try names that are something other than just a number.

I changed the chapter names without numbers. but for words in Hebrew and it was successfully changed. Thank you. But now what do we do in a situation where I want only a number to show? Or even I don't want anything to be written so it will remain blank. Because in these two cases it doesn't change
CAPRICORNX10X 68 Posted March 30, 2023 Author Posted March 30, 2023 I noticed something else now, According to the information in the movie playback, you can see the change of the name of the chapter, even if it is only to the numbers. But in the chapter selection , the names have not changed. very weird
