Painkiller88 249 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 OS: Win10 Server: 4.7.11.0 When i add a new album where every song has its own embedded cover, it seems emby is just processing the image/cover of the first song and all other songs are showing the same cover. I don't have this on all my albums and i tag them all the same way so what can be a reason for this or how can i fix it? Refreshing metadata for this album doesn't work as it just deletes the folder.jpg file but all songs still show up the same embedded cover of the first track. Any ideas? Thanks
Luke 42079 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Hi, yes this is generally what will happen for tracks of an album.

But yes get different results in 4.7. But don't really see why tracks from an Album would be different unless provider image differs from embedded image. Edited March 28, 2023 by Happy2Play
Painkiller88 249 Posted March 29, 2023 Author Posted March 29, 2023 For Example Beatport albums or top 100 albums have a Album Cover but every track inside has it's own Cover. This is what i can Tell you as an Example where all Songs have different albums. Also if i create an Album called mixtape and Add my own mixtapes every Mix has a Cover but emby seems to ignore that.
Luke 42079 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 For a music library, the images are shared unless the tracks have different artists. For an audiobook library, every track extracts it's own image. More options to control this are always possible, but this is an optimization to avoid the expense of having to extract images for every single track.
