Getumzz 13 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 So I have the same problem. Not sure when it started but the interesting thing is that when I restart the computer I can connect to the emby server for a few seconds before getting a time out. When I try to reconnect I get the localhost refused to connect. embyserver.txt embyserver-63815460090.txt embyserver-63815460625.txt hardware_detection-63815260904.txt
Luke 42083 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 @Getumzz please try removing these plugins: 2023-03-24 13:26:18.411 Info App: Loading CoverArt, Version=4.1.20.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from C:\Users\emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins\CoverArt.dll 2023-03-24 13:26:18.411 Info App: Loading Emby.AutoOrganize, Version=1.6.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from C:\Users\emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins\Emby.AutoOrganize.dll 2023-03-24 13:26:18.412 Info App: Loading statistics, Version=3.0.7.5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from C:\Users\emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins\Statistics.dll
Getumzz 13 Posted March 26, 2023 Author Posted March 26, 2023 (edited) @LukeIs there a way to remove them manually when I don't have access to the dashboard? Or can I just delete the dll files? Edited March 26, 2023 by Getumzz
Luke 42083 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Try deleting all .dll files from C:\Users\emby\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins Then start up the server.
Getumzz 13 Posted March 27, 2023 Author Posted March 27, 2023 Luke, It seems like it's caused by Intel ARC drivers. Been playing around with a clean install of windows 11 and Emby server. As soon as I install the drivers things go sideways. UPnPError: ConflictInMappingEntry UPnPError: Argument Value Out of Range UPnPError: NoSuchEntryInArray Then it kills the embyserver process. Application: EmbyServer.exe CoreCLR Version: 6.0.1022.47605 .NET Version: 6.0.10 Description: The process was terminated due to an internal error in the .NET Runtime at IP 00007FF9B3EF224B (00007FF9B3D20000) with exit code c0000005.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Not entirely sure PortMapper has anything to do with this. But yes there are known issues with ARC. Should be resolved in coming 4.8 release.
Getumzz 13 Posted March 27, 2023 Author Posted March 27, 2023 Yea, as soon as I uninstall the driver for the card the server works just fine. I'm swapping over to a amd tomorrow just to check. Use to have a amd card in the server till a couof days ago and that's when the issue started.

Getumzz 13 Posted March 27, 2023 Author Posted March 27, 2023 So I swapped out the ARC to a AMD and the server works perfectly fine. So conclusion is that it fails when it trying to do the hardware detection as far as I can see. 1

pwhodges 2012 Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Thanks. Though it now turns out that my Emby machine doesn't have resizable BAR - I know this matters for gaming (which is of no interest), but will it also affect transcoding? If it does, the card will go in my desktop which is where I run Handbrake etc, and the video card from there can go to upgrade the streamer. Paul
