Issue with [redacted]

Hello,

is anyone having issues with logging into emby with [redacted] on iOS.

 

my login and password has not changed but keep getting invalid username or password.

any help would be great.

Is that remote or local connection? Are you logging in with your local user credentials or Emby Connect? Is iOS client app the only app you're facing issues with? If you connect locally with your Web app, are you able to log-in? Post server log.

Trying to log into emby connect

when I try to log in with username and password I get incorrect username or password.

 

it seems when I signed out of my apple iOS phone, I ran into the issues. I am still logged on my iPad iOS.

Based on your group, have you received an email relatively recently about changing your password maybe? 

In any case, you can try re-linking your local user with your Connect Account: Settings>Users>edit desired user>clear (Optional) Connect field, Save, re-enter your Connect account email, Save. 

Edit: Out of curiosity, why are you logging-in locally trough Connect?

When I download the emby app.

it goes straight to emby connect.

I live in Canada.

it doesn’t allow me to go any further.

that’s what my problem is.

I have to log into emby connect but can’t log into my server.

I'm having trouble following you: do you have your own server set-up? Can you access it via Web app on your local network? Emby Connect has nothing to do with that, it is completely optional feature, mainly intended for remote access.

I do have a server set up for my [redacted]

When I try setting it up manually, it comes up with a different user on my server.

It is just frustrating, as my smart tv and iPad works just fine. Just can’t connect my iPhone to it.

If its yours, can you explain how did you set it up? Which platform runs it? What does server Dashboard show on the device you can connect (iPad)?

So that's a server you've subscribed to? Someone gave you access?

Then you should investigate that with whoever owns the server as they are in no way related/affiliated with Emby nor questions like this have place on Emby forums.
