Music Video Tags

For my music videos I tag them with the Artist, Album, Year and embed a picture, which Emby pics up on all.  Is there a tag that I include that Emby will read so that I can include the IMDB Id and the overview.  I have tried the tags, IMDBID, OVERVIEW, COMMENTS, DESCRIPTION and PLOT with no success.  My goal is for Emby to read everything I need from the video itself.  I don't rely on IMVDB for searching.

Hi, description is supported. I haven't heard of ImdbId but it's something we could easily add.

Hi @Bvaring. There are still a few options to get the information into emby.
 

The first is to manually enter the information using the metadata editor or Vic’s bulk editor tool.

Second is to utilize a .NFO file. I personally use MediaMonkey to add tags to the music video files and then export a customized NFO file to the same folder as the media. The NFO is just a txt file with the information in a form emby (or other media software like Kodi) will pick up.

Description, desc, synopsis, comment are all checked.
