Video doesn't play on Android TV app

• Several videos in my library can't play. It only display a frame and stock there. I can forward it, it shows new frame and don't play continuously.
• I have sent several logs last night (2023-03-22) around 23:38
• the username I used is vernon5cui

I am using XGIMI Horizon projector.

The videos works fine on the app on NVidia shield or iOS but not XGIMI Horizon projector.  However, I can play those videos by using VLC on XGIMI Horizon projector through the third-party player option on your App.

I will try again and send both app log and server log.

The one I am using is installed from the google play. Do you suggest to download the file emby-android-google-armeabi-v7a-release.apk and sideloading it instead of the google play one?

I have solve the issue by downgrade the android TV app to this one

It seems like the updates on android 12 combability may introduce bugs on android 10 devices.

I tried the following:

app-google-release.2022.04.apk

app-google-release.2021.11.apk

 

Only app-google-release.2021.11.apk works from the above link.

Worked great for about a year, then stopped playing the last several minutes of TV episodes. Audio keeps playing, but the picture freezes and it won't seek forward. Tried restarting the app, rebooting the box, clearing cache, etc. I paid for this app and now it doesn't even work. Will be switching to Jellyfin if this remains unfixed.

@LukeI have the same issue. Some Videos doesn't play on Android TV app.
