Okays guys and gals. My apologies I’m really new to Emby.  Full disclosure I’m coming over from Plex.   I subscribed to an ip tv service and I’m trying to get the guides and such to work correctly.  Plex can’t sccomodate channel lists that big and the ip tv service I signed up with allows Emby to work with it.   
 

Is a guide tied to the ip tv service or are the generic ones you can use for Emby?   Again I’m sorry I’m going at this brand new

you can:

• either use your iptv provider epg through the xmltv url you were given. This generally only covers the next 24hrs with most providers
• or pay for emby premiere and use their epg which i think covers US, UK and Canada

you should absolutely be using a tool such as iptvboss to trim down your channel list though.
