Thumbnail image extraction does not work

Hi

I'm running Emby in docker on my Synology NAS (don't want to use the Synology App as I want to be able to migrate the setup to different hardware in the future). It's working fine, except for the Thumbnail Image extraction task. I have set "Generate video preview thumbnails" to "as a scheduled task" on both my movies and tv shows library. I did not select the option to save the bif files in my media folders, as Emby does not have write access to those.

I figured this should work - however, whenever I manually run the task to extract thumbnail image extraction, it runs for a few seconds and then marks as completed. However, no thumbnails have been generated, and seeking does not work. Why is that, and what can I try about that? I can provide logs etc, however didn't find anything regarding thumbnail generation in there.

Hi @avitali please try refreshing the metadata on an affected title, and then after that, run the scheduled task again.
