Danimontes 11 Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Buenas tardes, Alguien sabe como hacer para mandar mensajes genéricos a todos los usuarios del servidor para que los vean cuando accedan a la web o a la aplicación? Muchas gracias.
Luke 42077 Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Hi, you could check out @chef's messaging plugin. 1
chef 3810 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Yeah that message plugin will do that. Let me see if I still have it kickin around. 1

Danimontes 11 Posted March 29, 2023 Author Posted March 29, 2023 So we have to ask him to do his mágic?
chef 3810 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Sorry, got busy. I'll post it here. Just need a minute
chef 3810 Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Sorry that took so long @Danimontes Here is the release here https://github.com/chefbennyj1/Emby.MessageUsers/releases 1
Danimontes 11 Posted April 1, 2023 Author Posted April 1, 2023 Sorry, for I feel confused. What do I have to do now?

Open: "Emby-Server/programdata/plugins" folder. Place the DLL in there Restart the server There are two plugin folders in Emby's folder structure. Be sure to place the DLL into the proper one, under "programdata". Let me know how it goes.
Danimontes 11 Posted April 1, 2023 Author Posted April 1, 2023 Ok, Let's assume I'm a dummy (which, in fact, I am). I have a Raspberry Pi 4. I can't find (surely by my fault) the DLL. After that, Can you guide me the route to the emby-server folder? The only one I can find is: /opt/emby-server, Which these folders inside: The only plugin folder I find is in the backup folders I do every day. I'm as lost as an octopus in a junkyard. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for your patience. No worries. @Darkseiddcan you tell where we host emby on the raspi? We have got to side load a plugin here, but I can't remember off my head where it is in unix.
TMCsw 247 Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 @chef@Danimontes is right there is no dll at that link… when you get it, using sudo place it here: /var/lib/emby/plugins/ make sure owner and permissions are the same as the other dl’s normally: chmod 644 <name>.dll chown emby:emby <name>.dll
chef 3810 Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 (edited) @Danimontes @TMCsw Oh! Doh! $#!+, I didn't press the right button. Sorry guys, I did it in a rush, and like a moron, I pressed the wrong button. I'll fix it right away. Edited April 1, 2023 by chef
