Export Metadata from library.db to .NFO Files in Each Movie Folder

All -

New to Emby and I spent a lot of time fixing issues with tags and identification of movies and tv shows.  I realized after the fact, that the share I was using was READ ONLY so all the metadata was written to the Emby library.db, not to local NFO files.  Storing them locally with each movie is preferred so I can access them and back them, also use them with other apps.

I'm afraid that if I force another metadata download it will overwrite all of the work I've done and screw up my titles, collections, etc.

1. Any way to export that info from the DB and use it to populate the directories with NFOs?

2. Option B: Any way to re-run Metadata downloads without screwing up my work?

Thanks!

Refresh Search for Missing should not change anything and just write missing.  May need to test on a item or two to see if it will write nfo if no changes found.

Then do this a library level.

Hello @Happy2PlayI appreciate the response.

I did run the "search for missing Metadata" and it looks like it worked. I now have Metadata in the movie file folders. It didn't grab title and background images.

I'd like to run replace all Metadata but that's the one I'm afraid might replace the titles I fixed with the original ones that were tagged incorrectly.
