DanielMarch 2 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Problems when playing, on xiaomi android tv. It starts playing any video file and after a few minutes, it starts playing very fast and then it stops, I tried with Plex and it works perfectly on my tv, any suggestions why that happens?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
DanielMarch 2 Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 I do not quite understand what to do, I have activated the debug log and I have played a video on my xiaomi tv and the problem is the same, it starts playing but suddenly it starts playing at a blazing speed, and then To stop. I send you the record. embyserver.txt
DanielMarch 2 Posted March 18, 2023 Author Posted March 18, 2023 If the problem is not solved, why invest in being premium? I have paid a full amount to have a well-functioning services. If the problems persist, I will have to claim to get the money paid back.
pwhodges 2012 Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 It is less than twelve hours since you posted a log (usually the debug version is not required, BTW); but I sure a small threat will make... absolutely no difference to how the developers examine your log. Paul
ebr 16187 Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Hi. This sounds like an issue with the encoding of the item. How was it created? Does this only happen on this one item?
ebr 16187 Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 How was the video with the issue created? Are all of these AVI files? Can you try side-loading the beta of the app and see if that solves it?
DanielMarch 2 Posted March 18, 2023 Author Posted March 18, 2023 (edited) where do I find the vein version? Edited March 18, 2023 by DanielMarch

Not sure what you're asking for but you do not need to touch your Emby Server. Just follow the link that @ebrprovided above and side-load the latest BETA apk of 'Emby Android TV' on to your MiBox device, and try again. Guide: How to side-load apps 1 1
DanielMarch 2 Posted March 19, 2023 Author Posted March 19, 2023 I already downloaded the app from the repository as they tell me, but I still have the same problem, the videos start playing but then it starts playing very fast and then after 35.47 minutes it stops: I'm trying different video formats and the ones that stop They don't give a problem, they are the .mkv
seanbuff 1318 Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 Okay, well as AVI is a really outdated container format. Is there any issue with you continuing to use MKV in future? You should get a much better playback experience from that.

ebr 16187 Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Okay, that is not the beta version we were asking you to try as it is 2.0.87. Please see:
DanielMarch 2 Posted March 22, 2023 Author Posted March 22, 2023 (edited) I have updated to Version 2.0.8.7 and it seems to be working fine for now Edited March 22, 2023 by DanielMarch 1
