Camera upload doesn't start automatically

Hi,

I'm wondering: uploading camera images shall start automatically when:

• there are new (unuploaded) images/videos on my phone AND
• there is wifi (if wifi-only option is enabled)

isn't it?

 

My phone doesn't seem doing this at all, every single time I have to open the Camera upload option to manually trigger the upload operation, and if I'm lazy and forget doing this regularly, I might end up with a huge amount of new media to upload which would take a lot of time.

Phone: Fold3, everything is latest (software-wise).

 

What would you recommend?

Tried turning off "Battery Optimization" and now it seems getting back to normal operation.

Will keep posting here with new updates regarding this.
