Might need to see a server log as ffmpeg log shows http://100.64.xxx.x:8096 connection.

is that an embyserver.txt? also that ip address was because of a vpn. i disconnected and it still has issues.

Yes that is the server log file.

Don't know your setup but vpn should be irrelevant on your LAN.

Is the extension .dtshd audio file already supported, al my scanned folders are empty when i try to acces it.

its not the same as dts.wav

Hi, no, never heard of this before, so it's not currently supported. We do support files with a .dts extension. As a test, if you rename one to .dts, are you able to play it?

 rename it to wav but my Windows VLC player doesnt get it. Ill give youre option a go

Also when I rename it to .DTS its not playing in VLC Mediaplayer

.dtshd is a bitstream DTS HD extract from something like eac3to.  .thd is Dolby True-HD

It should will contain the DTS 'Core' as well.  

You can likely easily extract the Core by using ffmpeg or eac3to -core command line utilities.  This will then be a .dts file.

but could emby handle it too

I tested your sample and ffmpeg appears to not be able to handle this file, so this is not a quick win that can be easily enabled. It will require investigation.

Use mkvtoolnix to mux it back into a usable format - .mka 

I believe emby supports that file type ?

@rbjtechI hope something can be done with it I have quite a lot of albums in this format
