Hello,

I have encountered an issue where the subtitles that can be displayed normally on the Emby web interface are unable to render properly on both the Android TV(2.0.8.3) and Windows Theater. Specifically, the subtitles in question are the Chinese SubRip subtitles embedded in Netflix's series "The Glory".My TV is Sony's X9000h.

I have tried basic troubleshooting steps such as restarting the server, clearing the cache, and uninstalling and reinstalling the client, but these methods did not resolve the issue.

I have checked the same content on the Emby web interface, where the subtitles can be displayed normally. However, on the Android TV and Windows clients, the subtitles cannot be displayed. This seems to indicate that this is a client-specific issue.

I have confirmed the detailed information of both the client and the server, including the operating system, application version, network environment, etc. I also tried searching for similar problems on the forum but did not find any relevant solutions.

Here, I would like to request the help of the support team in finding a solution. If possible, I can provide error logs to help diagnose the problem.

Thank you!

In AndroidTV app, if you select "Playback Correction" (bring up OSD during playback>cog icon) twice, do they show properly?

Okay, in the log you sent, the Chinese subs were never selected.  I see no subs selected and Polish subs selected.  Are you sure  you had the proper subs selected?

One issue may be the sheer number of subtitles in this item (I counted 47 sub streams).  Can you remux it to only include the subs you want and see how that compares?

The issue may be related to the number of streams.
