Didn't understand the use environment of DLNA

I have an emby server in the LAN

The client has Android phone Android tv

1. Android TV can be controlled by Android phone's dlna without installing an emby app

2. You need to open the emby app on Android TV to be controlled by Android phone's dlna

3. You need to open and log in to emby on Android TV to be controlled by Android phone's dlna

DLNA is an independent standard for media sharing - If you have it turned on, Emby will run a DLNA 'server' of it's own content for any other DLNA ready 'client' to see on the same LAN.

Any emby 'native App' will not use DLNA - it will use it's own playback method.

DLNA is used when there is no available native Emby App - lets say on a Smart Speaker or Panasonic TV for example.
