TV recordings no longer show cast

I swapped server hardware, so I had to set up my scheduled recordings again.  

I just noticed, that my recordings that I made with my new server are not showing the cast when playing the episodes on Android app.

Is there a setting that I forgot to enable that allows the server to scrape the cast of the episodes??

Hi there, have you explored the library options for the recordings library in Emby library setup?

I checked and changed a couple of settings, but still not scrapping the actors. 

Here is the NFO contents of an episode that is currently being recorded.  No "actor" information included.

What did you check, and what did you find when you checked it?

Not sure what I checked, but it's working now.  It even added the cast to the recordings that did not have the cast a few days ago. Is that even possible to add cast from recordings that was recorded days ago?

I almost never get a cast list unless I do a metadata refresh.

I did a metadata refresh also, perhaps that is what got cast back.  I never had to do that before, it just worked.

We'd have to look at a specific example along with answers to the questions previously asked. Thanks.

Likely. I find I need to do a metadata refresh on my recordings once they're done about 80% of the time, possibly more.

Is that something you just stated doing to get the **cast** to show up, or has that always been an issue for you?  I never had that issue until recently.

I guess the issue has not been resolved.  Not sure what answers or examples I can provide.  

As per @Crusher11, it appears that I have to do a metadata refresh to get the **cast** to show up.    Here is the nfo that is created about an hour ago for an Ironside recording, attached.  I will do a metadata refresh and see what happens and will post the updated nfo file.
