Can I downgrade EmbyServer app to previous version?

I haven't had any suggestions for solving my problem of having Emby go off-line after only an hour of up-time.  Can I downgrade the version, or get a new beta release in order to "refresh" the installation?

Generally not, due to database changes usually introduced with every new version. Though there were some users downgrading successfully, likely keeping on same branch and out of pure luck no breaking changes introduced in that particular version. But definitely not recommended.

What do you mean by that? You can always upgrade to beta branch, but in that case you definitely won't be able to revert to stable.

Honestly don't see this making a difference per your other topic on the issue.  But Grim covered the question in general downgrading is problematic do to potential changes between version and typically would require you to have some sort of backup plan so you could backup and restore the entire Emby programdata folder.

Well, I'm trying to think outside of the box.  I need to get this EmbyServer running again outside of my home.  Do any of you think that it could be Unraid instead of EmbyServer?  Again, it can be temporarily corrected just by selecting 'Restart' on the EmbyServer docker - but only for a very short time, and then external access stops, while internal access continues as if nothing is wrong.

But 4.7.11.0 has been running great for months per your other topic changing versions should be irrelevant.  Per your other topic only loosing external access should be network related.  Can you follow up in your other topic.
