Media Info Updating

I replaced some video files today with BD versions.  The Media Info section is still showing the old video properties.

I tried scanning the library and refreshing the metadata for that show.  It's not updating the video properties.

The date should be 3/6 with one audio and subtitle track.

Am I overlooking something simple and right in front of me?

Thanks.

Jim

Are you sure that is the correct path for the item you replaced?

Also what is your "Date added behavior for new content:" setting?  App Settings-Library-Advanced tab

Do you write nfo files with media as original added date in file will be used.

Can you provide the server log when you replaced/refreshed this item.  Thanks

Hello,

Yes, the path is correct.  The existing DVD-quality files were overwritten with the replacement BD-quality. All had the same filenames.

Date added behavior - Use file creation date.

I don't use NFO files and non exist in the Gunslinger Girls show directory.

Log attached.

Thanks,

Jim

That could explain the date.

But looks like it got the file info.

Only other thing would be removing the file doing a full scan and readding file, but nothing stands out here.  Unless there is a Refresh issue on the page.

What should the media info look like?

I'll try deleting, rescanning and adding back the file.

Attached is a MediaInfo dump.

Good tip!  The delete/scan/add/scan worked and the file is now showing the correct properties.

Need a 'Update File Properties' button.  Add that to the other 10,000 feature requests Emby has.

Thank you for your help.

Jim

That was actually going to be my next question to post.

Emby was listed in the Package Center and it installed 4.7.8 and shows the same version as the Newest Online Version.

However, the web app shows version 4.7.11 as being available.

Do I stop the Emby server and do a manual package install with 4.7.11?

Thanks.

Yes unfortunately the package center is behind on versions.
