Hi All - Emby Connect is driving me mad, it's probably me. I can log into this forum successfully, I can log into my local server with no problem. But when I use a mobile device to log into Connect I can wrong uname/pw and I cannot see where my connect credentials are set. Also if I try and set the connect email address on the server it tells me it's allocated elsewhere. Any advice ?

Hi.  What exactly does the message say?

You can only assign a specific email address to ONE local Emby user on your server.  Are you trying to assign the same email to more than one user?

Hi There - it says 'The Emby Connect user is already linked to another user on this Server'.
So I only have two users configured on the server and neither of them have an email address configured, the email address on both users currently shows the same as the 'Name'.

Okay, neither of those are email addresses so just remove them - or enter valid Emby Connect email addresses if you are trying to associate these users with them.

Thanks, I was trying to enter a valid email address and it wasn't letting me. However I deleted them both as you said and saved it, and then I added the email address successfully, so that it great - thanks ! However from the Android app I still can't sign in with Emby Connect, I click 'Sign in with a emby Connect' from the 'Select Server' screen, enter the credentials and it just bombs me back out to the Select Server screen.

Oh hang on, my UPnP isn't working could that be it ?

Ok, so UPnP is up and running and I can access the server directly from the Internet, but I still can't login with Emby Connect from the android device

Is the WAN address shown on your dashboard correct?  IOW if you entered that exact address in a remote browser, does it bring up your server?

Yes sir it does. I was out yesterday and unable to test, I have just tried it on the mobile device, it has stopped prompting me to select a server and just worked. So for reasons I cannot understand other than what you helped me with it's all working - so thanks for your help
