As777 27 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 (edited) I am testing out the mesh VPN , Tailscale. I am trying to get the DLNA services Emby provides visible on the Tailscale subnet but it doesn't show anything. In the server network settings in LAN settings, I added 100.0.0.0/8, 192.168.0.0/24. The DLNA stuff appears on my local network but not when connected to Tailscale. My Emby server is running in Docker in "host" mode. Edited March 3, 2023 by askog666
rbjtech 5284 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 DLNA will only work on the local LAN - is is not a routable protocol unless you add all sorts of redirectors - way outside of the scope of it's intended purpose.

Ah right. That's a shame...trying to get my Emby IPTV exposed to my Oculus when on another network. Guess I can sideload an app though.
