Tv Series & Tags issue.

Hi

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum.

I have a question about TAGS, let´s say you create a "Movies" section and start making tags all is fine the top menu will show a tag so the users can choose tags inside "Movies" but if you create anything with a "Tv Series" just normal tv shows or cartoons the tags menu will not show up.

TAGS under Tv that do not show up what i have been able to test so far "LG OLED C1 latest Emby Version" "Emby for android Version 3.2.92" "Chrome or any browser"

Emby Server Version 4.7.11.0 (Windows)

Is there anyway to access the tags under tv series when you use a browser so you can get a overview what tags you have created and you can edit the images or?

Nope, TV shows tab bar is already (too) crowded and until option to customize it is implemented, you can't navigate to Tags tab as you can with movies.

Well i would say the Movies tab is just as crowded as Tv Series so why would Tags under Tv Series make it that much worse?, i think maybe the devs forgot about it?

Because it's limited to 8 items meaning some of the existing ones would need to be dumped by default (not likely). Or:

Aha the "limited to 8 items" would make sense.

Sorry if I'm to stupid to understand this could you care to explain why on a Shield or any android device with "Emby for android tv" the tag is there? 

If it´s 100% impossible to show this in Chrome(browser) at the moment would it be possible to get the overview with a URL? what I'm after is to edit the pictures so when you are looking at it with the shield or firestick the icons on the tags looks more nice then the generated logos from emby?.

Web app is different than Android client app which is again different than AndroidTV client app which is again different than AppleTV client app etc. - you get the picture, it's platform-dependent. Not all client apps share same features. 

Edit: Don't know how far along hosted Web app has gotten in that respect, connect to your server through app.emby.media and see is there any difference, as hosted app is typically ahead with some features in relation to local one.

You mean thumb images? You can search for tag you want in Web app, there's dedicated tab section in Search results that'll show you all tags with corresponding auto-generated images that you can customize if inclined to do so.

You mean thumb images? You can search for tag you want in Web app, there's dedicated tab section in Search results that'll show you all tags with corresponding auto-generated images that you can customize if inclined to do so. 

Yes the thumb images was hoping there was a URL i could use like the one generated by the server when you are under movies/tags but yes the search function is a good way to find tags and change the thumb images that way so thank you so much for that!!
