Nathanael 4 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Hello, I am having the issue that i have some duplicates in my movie collection. The same issue as discribed here: I noticed that the ID of the move is different and all the rest is the same. So i backed up the folder and deleted the items from the library. I performed a full library scan and the movies are now gone from the library. However when i use the search function the duplicate entrys are still there. Both (ICE Age Blu Ray's). I can open them and view all the meta data. When i press play it fails obviously as I deleted the file. When i check the library manual, the items are not present:

What paths are shown in each item MediaInfo details (scroll to the bottom)? 7 minutes ago, Nathanael said: I performed a full library scan How did you do that?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Look at the image one is a Movie and the other is a Trailer. You have the Trailer plugin correct?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 What does the movie show in edit metadata or media info?

Nathanael 4 Posted March 1, 2023 Author Posted March 1, 2023 I think i was a bit unclear. In the screenschot (search) above you see the movies of Ice Age. But this should not be possible as i have deleted these movies. But in the second you can see that they are no longer in the library. (sorted alphabetically) If I add the movies of Ice Age again to the library they are double in the search. I will add the folder to the library again and make some extra screenschots.
Nathanael 4 Posted March 1, 2023 Author Posted March 1, 2023 I have copied the files back in the library Strangely the ICE age issue is fixed... Maybe a cache issue between the library and the search??
Luke 42083 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 For the incorrect search entry, if you right click -> edit metadata, what does it show for the path?
Luke 42083 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 That's strange. Thanks for the info. Are you all set now?
FIGHTPASS 1 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I have had that happen a few times always turned out to be different movies put the same movie info out. I just click on identify when that happens and manually enter an imdb and it solves it. Sometimes it will happen with tv shows and I do the same just identify and change manually, if that don't work I manually do the entire tv show metadata then click on lock this entry so the metadata stays put. Depending on the show I have even just deleted stuff because I rather just move on and not spend the time on it. Also I can say that this happens more so when using a vpn in my experience, disabling vpn will also usually just solve the issue.
