denebianslimemo 0 Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 I'm pretty new to all of this. I have emby server on a pretty good laptop, but it's still just a laptop. I use emby clients on a Firestick 4K, Chrome Web/Windows, WebOS client on LG, and then also access emby via the DLNA interface on LG I like the emby client UI, I have paid to unlock the Android Edition. There are times though that it seems to take forever, as in forever, for a stream to start when accessing it from Android. The stream just buffers and buffers... I am not sure what it is going on. When that happens I can go into my LG TV's DLNA interface, find the the emby server, click on a show and it will start right up. No buffering at all. I am wondering if there is an explanation of why DLNA performance might be better out of the box than the client performance, and what I can do to make the client performance better.
Luke 42079 Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
