squaven 0 Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 When looking on the TV Naming documentation, "show name 01x02 - 01x03 episode name.ext" is a recognized naming convention. This is the convention that has historically been used across my media library. Recently in my Linux server, the multiple parts are no longer being recognized (current version is 4.7.11.0). For example, right now I have the first episode of Star Trek Voyager named: "TV Shows/Star Trek Voyager (1995)/Season 01/Star Trek Voyager 01x01 - 01x02 Caretaker.mkv" but it is recognized in the file list as "1. Caretaker (1)" with the next episode being "3. Parallax". Before, this would have been show as something like "1-2. Caretaker (1), Caretaker (2)". For this file, it isn't really much of a problem, but when I look at other series with three or four different episodes in a single file, all the interim episode names are skipped. Please help with with naming problem.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 @Lukewould have to look at this as it is not honoring that documented naming scheme. But can confirm it is reproducible. Changing the naming scheme corrects the issue. Star Trek Voyager 01x01 - x02 Caretaker
