Why "Camera Roll" folder in camera uploads folder?

Why is a "Camera Roll" folder created under the uploading device's folder for camera uploads from the Android app?  E.g., C:\Users\EmbyGuy\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data\camerauploads\Galaxy Tab A (2016)\Camera Roll

That folder doesn't correspond to anything.

That folder is the name of the photo album that came from the device. If there isn't one, the server defaults it to Camera Roll.

So what's the logic for this?  How does the Camera Roll folder help me?  Why does Emby need a default?

If Emby is going to create folders, I'd think it would be useful to mimic the source folder.  I uploaded pics from two folders on the tablet.

Actually sorry I was wrong. We are not defaulting it to Camera Roll. Android is giving us this as the bucket display name for the image:
