why do some episodes not have the correct show poster image?

For a TV series, some episodes do not have a show poster.  Why would this be?  (I can't 'identify' to fix it.)

Tab?  The image came from an episode detail page, but I also see this issue in the series season's page.

Episodes should not display TV show posters but episode thumbs, so something is actually off with those that do have it, not the other way around.

Oh.  Nice.  Well, it looks like it is only with this one TV show.  The others show posters only for missing episodes.

Guess would be no provider has thumbs for those episodes hence they have no primary image. If you enable Screen Grabber under Episode image fetchers in your library settings and refresh metadata with replace images on those episodes, Emby will extract those for you from actual file.

Correct not all images are available via TVDB/TMDB so screen grabber/image capture is required to show a proper episode thumb if you have the media. 

As for Missing it will not be gotten and will present whatever fallback image you have for the Show but have no idea why last aired season image was used on all episodes.

example Season 1 episodes with season 7 season poster. But have never really noticed this but look normal looking at other older shows all episodes using the last season poster image.  Correction as that image is a Show Poster on TVDB.

Normally you will see Series thumb/landscape.

No so fallback image is used.

But to original issue it comes back to no provider images and screen grab/image capture not enable to get from media.
