Delete library folder

Hi everyone,

I have changed the folder where I want to store the bif files. Until now I used the default values of emby. So, if I delete the "metadata library" folder, will the bifs be generated again in the new folder I have designated?

Solved and I answer myself. By deleting the library folder and scanning the changes I can generate the bif files again in the new folder.

Make sure to run the scan metadata folder scheduled task to let the server know what you did.

Moving the metadata path to a custom location can be problematic as there are a lot of database entries to that path.  So existing imported item would look at default location and new items would look in new location.

Not positive if manually moving everything to new metadata location and running the task will repoint everything to new location. @Luke

Changing the metadata path is fine. You just need to make sure to run the scheduled task afterwards as mentioned in the help text.
