Can Emby be used as a photo album?

I was just wondering if I can put all my photos on Emby and view them on the tv?

Yes, you can. The only thing to be aware of is that if you want to play a slideshow WITH videos, the Android TV app will play videos, but you have to click Play every time a video is shown. The standard Android app will not play the videos at all within the "photo" slide show. A photo ONLY slide show works well though.
