IOS 16.3.1, App 2.2.7 - TV Playback not working

I am on iOS 16.3.1 (iPad Air Pro) with app 2.2.7 (MacOS 4.7.11.0) and I keep getting ‘Playback Error.  No compatible streams…’ when I am trying to watch live TV or a recorded show.  Still works great in the browser, though.  Happy to post debug log if this is an unknown issue.  Please let me know.
