Guest Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Wondering if this issue has arisen on here before, as I have no idea how to sort or place on here so if I am in the wrong part forgive me. Went to continue watching one of my favourites today (CSI VEGAS) and for some weird reason I'm getting an additional commentary telling me what is happening whist video plays normally (audio ok and video ok) scanned through all usual options but cannot see anything to switch this off. Any ideas? TIA
GrimReaper 4749 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Sounds like you have multi-audio file with Commentary track selected. Do you have audio dropdown in item detail view?
GrimReaper 4749 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 If that's the only audio track - as it appears to be as you have no audio selection icon lower-left - I'm afraid there's not much you can do. Could you share Media Info details from item detail view in Web UI (scroll all the way to the bottom)? Is that recorded item or obtained by some other means?
rbjtech 5284 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 As Grim says, simply put - the incorrect track has been used for the media file - you'll need to source the audio or audio/video from alternative means - emby is doing nothing but playing the track it has been given.
