jang430 10 Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I have a pretty old iPad Air, can only update up to 12.5. All of a sudden, Emby doesn't open anymore. Deleted the app, and went to my purchase history, and clicked on the cloud download icon, but still, the downloaded app doesn't work. What are my possible choices except to replace the unit?

csadoian 36 Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Just wanted to add that Emby does the same thing on my iPad Mini 2 running IOS 12.5.7. It used to work, but at some point in the last couple of months it stopped working. I use it infrequently so I don't know exactly when the problem started. I have a newer iPad running the latest IOS (as of 5/20/23) and Emby works just fine on it. Does the Emby for IOS have a minimum supported IOS version? The app store says the app should work on my device, but that's obviously not true anymore It's not a big deal to me, it's pretty common for apps to stop supporting older versions of IOS. It's interesting the Emby web app works in Safari on the iPad Mini 2. A little slow, but it works. Once the video comes up the picture looks great.
