Android Auto can't set a max bitrate

All my music is in Flac format and much of it is Hi-Res (90-192Hz/24-bit). My phone is setup to transcode down to 128kpbs AAC if I'm connecting over the Internet to save on my mobile data plan. I noticed that Android Auto doesn't honor the setting on my phone and continues to stream everything directly. Is there a way to change this and if not could it be a future option?

HI, what version of Emby for Android are you running?

Currently 3.2.92 but I can try some older versions if you think it worked at one time.

Any updates if this can be fixed?

What setting did you configure in the app?

Internet Quality = 128kbps. The phone works and it streams music at 128kbps but when I connect it to the cars Android Auto it direct plays.

Did you try setting the music Internet quality setting?

That is the setting that I set to 128kbps. It works fine if the phone isn't connected to the car.
