Kids emby-connect account

My kids use emby on our wifi network, but when out of the home (not on home wifi), they cannot connect to emby.

I have other users that are remote; they log in to the app using their emby account email and password which I have linked to their account on my emby server.

 

The kids are not old enough to have email addresses, so how can I create accounts to allow them to connect to emby remotely?

Hi.  Connect is not necessary for remote access.  it is just a convenience.

If the kids already have the app installed on their phones, it should "just work" when they are also off-network.  Assuming remote access is setup properly.
