NajSinger 1 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Hello, I'm a newbie so I suppose I'll have a great deal of questions. Coming over from Plex, I know there is a way to merge duplicate artists or duplicate albums into one. How might I do that in Emby? There's a particular artist who is showing up in my music library twice and I would like to consolidate both entries into one, if possible. Thanks for any help.

No, the names were exactly the same. I went through a super long process of correcting all metadata last year so I’m sure everything was correct.
lh120503 6 Posted March 10, 2024 Posted March 10, 2024 In Plex, assuming you have for example a album split over 2,3 or more CD's, where these are shown as separate albums in both Plex and Emby, in Plex you can select them all and merge into one. The same way Emby does collections, but Plex merges albums which is a nice feature.
